Intelligence Bureau Exam Date 2014 for Security Assistants Post- 

Security Assistant / Executive Examination Post:-

       The Intelligence Bureau has recently announced the recruitment exam for the selection of candidates in the post of Security Assistants through written exam, Interview, Medical Exam and language proficiency tests respectively held for all the eligible applicants on the dates as specified for this purpose. The candidates in order to appear in the concerned recruitment exam should confirm their eligibility conditions in the first place and the application details in the second place. The exam is scheduled to be held in the months of March/ April 2014 as decided by the IB for this purpose.


IB Security Assistant Recruitment Exam 2014:


  The Intelligence Bureau has recently notified for the selection of eligible candidates in the 532 vacant posts of Security Assistants. The candidates in order to participate in the concerned recruitment exam should be at least Class 10th passed /Matriculation passed from any recognized central or state boards of India.

Online Applications were invited for the post through the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs from 18th January 2014 to 17th February 2014.


Eligibility for Exam:

     The ages of all the applicants should not exceed 27 years brought into effect from the Date of Closing Applications i.e. 17th February 2014.

The candidates should be well versed with the local language both spoken as well as written.



Selection Details:

     There will be a written test held for all the eligible applicants as per the educational and other details of eligibility and those who qualify will be called for the Personality Test/ Interview, Language Proficiency Test and Medical Examinations respectively.


Date of Exam: Tentatively in March/ April 2014 (yet to be announced by IB)


Pattern of Exam:

    There will be an objective type test of 100 Marks based on the questions from the following topics: GK (General Knowledge), Current Awareness, Aptitude, Reasoning, General Arithmetic and English. This will be followed by a Language Test of 50 Marks and Personality Test of 50 Marks held for all the eligible candidates at the dates as specified by the IB for this purpose.

   Agartala, Ahemadabad, Aizwal, Amritsar, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Dibrugarh, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kalimpong, Kohima, Kolkata, Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Shillong, Shimla, Siliguri, Srinagar, Trivandrum and Varanasi respectively

Intelligence Bureau Exam 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Selection Procedure-
Personal Assistants & Junior Intelligence Officers Post:-

      The Intelligence Bureau (IB) of India has recently announced the recruitment exam for the selection of eligible candidates in the posts of Personal Assistants and Junior Intelligence Officer Grade- II/ Technical under the General Central Services, Group B and C respectively. The candidates who wish to appear in the concerned recruitment exam should firstly confirm their eligibility and other requirements from the information as given here below.



      Online applications for the Intelligence Bureau Recruitment have been invited before 2nd June 2014 in the prescribed modes as given in the official notification published on the official website of the IB for all the applicants.


Details of IB Recruitment Exam 2014:

1. Personal Assistants

2. Junior Intelligence Officers


Total Vacant Positions: 74 Posts (PA: 42; JIO: 32)


Place of Recruitment: All over India


Scale of Pay: 

For Personal Assistants: Pay Band II: Rs.9300-34800 + GP of Rs4600

For Junior Intelligence Officers: Pay Band I: Rs.5200- 20200 + GP of Rs 2400


Exam Pattern:

The recruitment exams will comprise of the following three exams: 1) Written Test, 2) Stenographic Test/ Skill Test cum Interview and 3) Medical Examinations respectively. Given below is the paper pattern and qualifying marks details for all those applicants who are preparing for the concerned examinations.


1. Written Examination

The written examination shall consist of objective type multiple choice based questions on the following main subjects:

General Knowledge and General Awareness,

English Language

Reasoning

Mathematical Aptitude respectively


Total Marks Allotted: 100

 Duration of Exam: 1 Hour and 30 Minutes



2. Stenographic Skill Test (for Personal Assistant post):

This shall consist of the following main examinations: English or Hindi Shorthand @ 100 words/ minute. This shall consist of the following two examinations:

i) Dictation of 10 minutes @ 100 words/ minute

ii) Skill Test on computer transcription of shorthand -40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi) respectively


Total Marks Allotted: 100

Total Time Allotted: 10 Minutes


3. Skill Test in concerned trade and interview (for Junior Intelligence Officer Posts)


Total Marks Allotted: 100

Marks Allotted to Skill Test: 50 and

Marks Allotted to Interview: 50


Qualifying Criteria:

The candidates will be required to appear and qualify in all the exams as stated above in order to be called for the Medical Examinations, which is the final round of selection. The candidates will be informed about the date, time and place of the above stated examinations online at the official website of registration i.e. mha.nic.in.
